On May 21, 2025, the ZX490-5A excavator in the Mining area of the city of Ordos City ceased to be launched. The engine did not show signs of the work of the throttle, but all the indicators of the devices were normal. Several repair brigades previously conducted many inspections, including repairing the connectors of the on -board computer board, replacing the engine wiring wires, checking the voltage of the battery and the starter operation, as well as thorough diagnosis of low -pressure oil engine oil, but the problem did not disappear.
After the equipment is transferred to our repair center, our technical team developed a systematic diagnostic plan. Using the specialized EIDSS diagnostic equipment, they conducted an in -depth check of the control system and found that the engine control unit did not receive critical working commands when starting. After that, with the help of high -precision electrical equipment, resistance was measured in certain sections of the tour of the wires of the vehicle, which ultimately revealed the abnormal resistance in the ignition lock circuit.
A detailed inspection revealed the wear of the insulation of the burner wires of the emergency switch due to vibration at the place of its installation, which led to a short circuit to the ground. This malfunction is difficult to detect with traditional methods, and its accurate localization requires specialized equipment. The technical group replaced the damaged wiring harness, laying it in accordance with standard requirements and applying measures to protect against vibration. After the repair, the equipment launched as usual, and the continuous monitoring of the work confirmed the stable operation of the system.
This case of repair demonstrates that to eliminate the malfunctions of complex electronic control systems for modern construction equipment requires scientific diagnostic methods and specialized testing equipment. Thanks to our systematic diagnostic process and extensive experience in repair, we can accurately eliminate various complex malfunctions and ensure uninterrupted operation of the equipment.
